Oftentimes, the silent occupants of a cemetery can inspire and speak to us in many ways. That's how it went yesterday when i visited the Laurel Land Memorial Cemetery, located at the corner of Altamesa Blvd, and Crowley Rd in Fort Worth, Texas. I drove around and surveyed the different ways family members remembered their departed loved ones. I parked under a tree and noticed a sign next to it that read, Veterans Garden. I contemplated how the many soldiers that were buried there had served their country in different wars, in different ways. What else could i say but uttered a, "thank you for your service" remark. I made a quick hand salute and left.

Laurel Land did an AWESOME job on my dad's services. I loved the way everything turned out. The staff is very kind and they have been a huge help before and even after. They helped to make this process smooth. The communication is awesome. I love Mrs Debra, Mrs Latisha, and Mrs Angie! They are the sweetest ladies ever. Thank you all for your amazing service.
